Super Eagles must remain focussed – Rohr

Nigeria technical adviser, Gernot Rohr, has warned his side to remain focussed ahead of their remaining World Cup qualifying games after their 3-1 win over Algeria.
The tactician led the Super Eagles to a convincing victory over the Greens at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo on Saturday to maintain a perfect record in the Russia 2018 campaign.
Rohr also hinted that the home-based Eagles will be assessed in January next year through a friendly game against Egypt in Dubai, while he continues to monitor the progress of his players abroad.

“We played a good match and got three points, but I want to say that there are more matches to play and we have to keep our focus,” Rohr said.
“We have a friendly against Egypt in Dubai in January, which will enable me to look at the home –based players, but I will continue to monitor the Europe–based players and we will see how we get matches for them on Fifa free dates.
“I praise the players for their spirit, for their dedication and for their discipline. They all did very well and I am happy at their output.”
