Alaba won’t be sold to Manchester City – Rummenigge

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge dismissed reports linking David Alaba with a move to Manchester City on Saturday.
Reports on Monday said Alaba could be reunited with Pep Guardiola after Manchester City
officials met with the Austria international’s representatives to discuss a £40 million transfer.
But Rummenigge said Alaba is happy with the five-year contract that Alaba signed with Bayern in March.
“These rumours are not correct,” Rummenigge said of the links to City.
“He recently extended his contract with us until 2021. All the big European clubs know what that means with Bayern.
“That is to say that we are completely relaxed about his situation. This is not an issue for us.”
